Terry Dale Edwards

CLEVELAND - Terry Dale Edwards, age 69, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the North Sunflower Hospital in Ruleville, MS.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 5th from 1:00 PM until 2:00PM at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland, MS.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 5th at 2:00 PM also at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland, MS.  Burial will follow in Delta Heights Memorial Gardens. Father Kent Bowlds will officiate the services.

Terry was born on January 21, 1947 to Redden and Earlie (Smith) Edwards in Caledonia, MS.  He married Francis Palacios Edwards on September 27, 1969.  Mr. Edwards worked at D&L for a number of years. He also worked for Gant Farms for many years until he became disabled. He loved to fish, watch wrestling and listen to old country music. Terry was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his family--especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents Redden and Earlie Edwards, 3 brothers—John Edwards, Leon Edwards and his twin brother Jerry Edwards.

 He is survived by his wife of 47 years Francis P. Edwards of Cleveland, MS., Daughters, Diane (Jessie) Laro of Cleveland, MS.  and Janet (Jorge) Garcia of Cleveland, MS.  Brothers, J.T. Edwards and Jimmy Edwards, Sisters, Faye Flanagan, Darlene Sanders, Bernice West, Carolyn Scott, Ollie Fox and Sandra Toler, 5 grandchildren; Daniel Laro, Rebecca Laro, Priscilla Garcia, Analise Garcia and Dylan Garcia as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Marlin West, Rick Stadelbacher, Florencio Ybarra, John Fox, Nick Manrriquez and Justin Cannon.
