CLEVELAND - Theresa Hedge Pearson, age 58, of Cleveland, MS passed away on Monday, December 07, 2020, at her home in Cleveland.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.
She was born on September 25, 1962, to Franklin and Sherry (Jennings) Hedge in Munich Germany. She graduated from Schlagle High School in Kansas City Kansas. She received her Bachelors of Business Degree from Delta State University. She went on to work for Delta State University in the Music, Business, and Facilities Departments for many years before moving to Cleveland School District as an Administrative Assistant.
Theresa loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed working in her yard and traveling to Branson (Silver Dollar City) with her family. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church but attended Morrison Chapel Baptist Church for the last few years.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents Franklin and Sherry Hedge, and a sister Frankie DiAnn Hedge.

She is survived by her husband, Duane Pearson, of Cleveland, MS, Daughter, Leslie (Dustin) Carroll of Cleveland, MS, Sons, Glenn (Mary Alice) Holloway III of Cleveland, MS, Tyler (Annie) Pearson of Cleveland, MS and, Hayden (Alyssa) Pearson of Merigold, MS. Brother, Richard Hedge of Southaven, MS.  Granddaughter, Payton Carroll, Grandsons, Glenn Holloway IV, and Wyatt  Pearson.  She also leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins to cherish her memory.

Beautiful, gentle, and compassionate are only three words that describe you. You were a blessing to the Cleveland School District. Your humble spirit, willingness to help in any way, and kindness will be missed. Take your rest and we shall meet again.

Ms. Theresa was one of the most kind and helpful people in the Music Department when I was in school. I was fortunate enough to be one of her work study students in both the music department and business department. This is a tragic loss.
