CLEVELAND - Thomas Sidney Morgan, 72, formerly of Amory, died on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 3 p.m. in the Liberty Cemetery in Nettleton.
Sidney was born on October 18, 1943, to Emory and Clara Adams Morgan in Aberdeen. He attended schools in Aberdeen. Sidney worked at several area furniture manufacturers. He married Ann Cantrell McCormick Morgan and they moved to Amory. After Ann's death Sidney moved to Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory Alex and Clara Adams Morgan; wife, Ann Cantrell McCormick Morgan; step son, Barry McCormick; and a brother, Emory Alex Morgan Jr.
Sidney is survived by two brothers, Joe David Morgan, Gilbert Arthur Morgan, both of Aberdeen; sister, Berta Morgan Armstrong of Aberdeen; stepson, Doug McCormick of Amory; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
