Thomas Ralph Rush

Ralph was born to Thomas and Adelle Maudy Rush on August 8, 1944, in Inverness, MS. Thomas attended School in Inverness and Shaw school districts. He was married to the love of his life in 1968 in Shaw, MS. He served two years in the United States Army. Ralph worked for Gresham McPherson for 30 years. He enjoyed restoring old furniture and spending time with his grandchildren. Ralph was an active member of Yale Street Street Baptist Church serving as a deacon. He was also a member of the American Legion.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Rush and Adelle Maudy Rush, and his brother, Dwight Rush.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kay Rush of Cleveland, MS; Son, Robert (Shelly) Rush of Colorado Springs, CO; Daughter, Mimi (Aaron) Scott of Winston Salem, NC; sisters, Janis Lofton, Linda Rettburg; Brother, Allen Rush; Grandchildren, Andrew Rush, Afton Scott, Ireland Scott, Ian Scott, Anna Scott, Alistair Scott, and Agnes Scott.

Pallbearers are Ian Scott, Allen Rush, Andrew Rush, Chris Lofton, Robert Rush, and Aaron Scott.
