Tollie, Joe told me about Gerald. I was so very sorry to get the news. I remember the squirrels he would drop off for Dad. And I remember Dad saying, "there is never a hair on the meat"-----for people that know, that is truly a labor of love. He will be sorely missed. My prayers are with you and the family. Love, Richard Cole

Tollie, I was saddened tonight to hear of Gerald's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Joe called to tell me. Gerald and I shared many good times what seems like a million years ago.

Dear Stanford family,I just heard about Gerald and want you to know that you all are in my prayers. Gerald was a good friend and neighbor. I fondly remember holding a flag for him as he flew over our fields. Whether a morning's harvest of squirrels or something fresh from the garden, he stopped at our house often and shared those things along with lots of laughter and good conversation. He will always hold a special place in the Cole family. May God bless you all with His gracious comfort.Joe Cole
