Wanda was born January 27, 1956, in Cleveland, MS to Lillian Weaver Hudson and Denver Reed Hudson.
She married B.J. Wooten on November 11, 1977. They had 3 boys who were the light of their life until their grandchildren came along.
She was the very definition of “a mother’s love” because she learned from the best. She raised three little boys along with countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends. She also took care of several adult family members she loved dearly and was always willing to help anyone that was in need. Everyone she met in life she blessed in some way, shape, or form including all of her sons' friends who called her Mama too.
Her boys were her heart and just when you thought she couldn’t love anymore the grandkids came along and she took it to a whole new level. She was over the moon excited and couldn’t wait to spoil her first great-grandson who is due to be born in November.
She worked at Rhodes Printing till it closed and then Planters Bank until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lillian and Denver Hudson and her husband BJ Wooten.
Wanda is survived by her sons Chris Hudson (Denise), Ben Wooten (Mary Kathryn), and Matt Wooten (Michelle). 9 Grandchildren Jacob Hudson, Kameron Hudson, Ryan Smith, Gracie Wooten, Reid Wooten, Lessley Wooten, Nathan Wooten, Lily Wooten, and Emmy Wooten. 1 Great Grandson little lemon on the way.
