William Michael "Bill" Alexander age 78 of Cleveland, MS passed away Monday, April 4, 2022, at the Delta Regional Hospital in Greenville, MS.
On October 29, 1943, Bill was born to Edwin and Mabel Howell Alexander in Lake Village, Arkansas. He graduated from Eudora High School and attended Southern Arkansas University-Magnolia.
Bill held a commercial pilot license and an instructor license. During his pilot career, he was chief pilot for Reed-Joseph Corporation in Greenville MS, Delta State University, Cleveland MS, and was part-owner of Boyle Flying Service.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Mabel Alexander and his wife Jeannie White Alexander.
He is survived by his daughter Marcale Alexander Sisk of Foley Alabama, granddaughter Tierney A. Maryott of Palmetto, Florida, and a great-granddaughter, Bennett Maryott of Palmetto, Florida.
Bill requested no memorial services be held. The family requests that memorials be made to The Zoo Foundation dba Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo 20499 Oak Road E, Gulf Shores, Alabama 36542.
