William Byrd,

William "Bill" H. Byrd, Jr. age 51, of Vicksburg, died on Monday May 31, 2010 at the River Region Hospital in Vicksburg. He was born on June 11, 1958 to William Harrison and Mary (Gladwell) Byrd, Sr. in Benoit, MS.  Bill was a former farmer and currently a construction worker in the Vicksburg area. He was of the Baptist faith. Bill's passion was hunting and fishing.Visitation will be held Wednesday June 2, 2010 from 6:00 PM ~ 08:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.  Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 3, 2010 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Beulah Cemetery. The Rev. Allen Robison will offciate the service. He is survived by Sister, Janet Gail Butler of Rosedale, MS. Brother, John Edward Byrd of Long Beach, MS.  Sister, Geraldine Hollings of Rosedale, MS.  Numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces,  nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a special friend Debbie McDaniel of Redwood, MSHe was preceded in death by his parents.Pallbearers are John Hollings, James Bunch, John Gilbert, Sr., John Gilbert, Jr., Henry Gilbert and Randy Marquis. Honorary pallbearers are Richard "Clint" Anthony, Robert Anthony, Bobby Fraize and Jason Hatcher.Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
