Wilson was born on August 4, 1981 in Cleveland, MS to William Lee Cummins and Billie Darlene Butts Cummins. He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1999. Wilson enjoyed duck hunting and working on cars and computers. He also enjoyed lifting weights. Wilson was fortunate enough to have hunted ducks with world champion duck hunters. Helping others gave him pleasure.
Wilson was fiercely loved by his family, and he reciprocated that love. As a young man, he worked alongside his dad, who he both respected and aggravated. Later in life, Wilson was doted on by his mom, who spoiled him with his favorite foods. Wilson enjoyed the simple things—a good dog, good music, and a good drink—and spent much of his time around the kitchen table laughing with his good friends.”

Wilson was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Prestage; his Grandparents, Audrey & Sarah Dean Cummins, Thomas Helen Howell Butts, Sr., Earl Howell, and his uncle Jimmy Cummins.
