William Anthony Nichols, 49, went to be with his Savior on January 21, 2013. Anthony was a beloved son, faithful husband, loving father and proud grandfather whose joy in life was surpassed only by his joy in Christ. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, LeAnn Griffin Nichols; his children: Brandon Scott Nichols and wife Lindsay Brooke Nichols, Fletcher William Nichols, Logan Anthony Nichols and fiancé Danielle Alyssa Glass and Shelby LeGay Nichols; his grandson: Brandon Kade Nichols; and his parents: William Wayne Nichols and wife Carolyn Cantrell Nichols, James Warren Griffin and wife Nancy Scott Griffin. He is also survived by his siblings: Randall Dewey Nichols (wife Kim and children Hunter, Trapper and Brooke), Marlon Wayne Nichols (wife Ashley and children Martin, Nathan, Morgan, Coleman and Andi), Steven David Nichols (wife Hayley and children Avery and Hannah Grace), Wendy Griffin Roncalli (husband Desi and children Madison, Mallori and Matthew) and Warren Scott Griffin (wife Angie and children Lauren, Lance and Haley).
Anthony was born 1963 in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Anthony graduated from North Sunflower Academy, Ruleville, Mississippi in 1982. Anthony graduated from Mississippi State University in1988. Anthony worked for Accenture from 1988 to 2013. Anthony was a Senior Executive at Accenture and an avid hunter/outdoorsman. Anthony supported organizations including the Mississippi State University Alumni Association, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Boy Scouts of America, Arizona Elk Society, National Wild Turkey Federation and numerous others. Anthony served as a deacon for Oak Ridge Baptist Church, SonRise Community Church and First Baptist of Conroe. Anthony was a member of Spring Baptist Church. Anthony's proudest moment was the salvation and baptism of his four children.
Visitation will be at Spring Baptist Church on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 10AM. Memorial service will follow at 11AM. Graveside service will be at Lehrton Cemetery near Ruleville, MS on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2PM. Arrangements are being handled by Cashner Funeral Home in Texas and Cleveland Funeral Home in Mississippi.
            Anthony's family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Spring Baptist Church Vision 2020 Fund, the Mississippi State Alumni Association or the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
