William Oakman

William Otha "Buddy" Oakman, age 80, of Richland, MS, died Sunday November 08, 2009 at his sisters home in Rosedale . He was born on July 01, 1929 to Robert and Katie (Dennis) Oakman, Sr. in the Panther Burn Community. He graduated the University of Mississippi with a BS in Accounting. He was a WW II veteran of the United States Army Air Corp. After his enlistment he was employed by the State of Mississippi as a data analyst. Burial was Monday November 9, 2009 at 3:00pm in the Stoneville Cemetery in Leland, MS. He is survived by sister, Betty O and Husband Dr. John Gibson of Rosedale, MS, Sister-in-Law; Jean Oakman of Clarksdale, MS and numerous nieces and nephews.
