Emily Marie Weeks

SKENE- Emily Marie Weeks, age 24, of Skene, MS passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019, at her home.

Emily was born on August 24, 1995, to Joseph Hewitt and Lane June (Redden) Weeks in Jackson, MS.  She loved listening to music, playing with dolls, riding four-wheelers and being with her family.  Emily was a fun-loving happy person who will forever be a part of the memory of her friends and family.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 24, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home.  Burial will be at the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Reverend Jimmy Breland will officiate the services.

Emily was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Sandra Weeks Tuberville and James Weeks, maternal grandparents, Billy and Cherrie Mae Redden.

She is survived by her parents, Joey & Lana Weeks of Skene, MS.  Two sisters, Elizabeth Cox (Matthew) of Skene, MS and Erin Weeks of Skene, MS. Four Nephews, Conner, Walker, Gunnar, and Keevan Cox of Skene, MS. Emily also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins to cherish her memory.

Pallbearers are Klint Fausnight, Cody Britt, Wes Redden, Boyer Britt, Keith Pittman and Robert Prewitt.

Memorials may be made to Blair Batson Children's Hospital 2500 N. State St. Jackson, MS 39216-4505 Verner S. Holmes Learning Resource Center, Room U013.

The family wishes to thank all the nurses, and aids for their diligent and loving care given to Emily.
