CLEVELAND- Louise "Sis" Lindsey Palacios age 75 of Cleveland, MS passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, November 10, 2020, with her family at her side.

Louise was born May 27, 1945, to Edgar Eugene and Ida Lucille Smith Lindsey in Cleveland, MS. She attended Cleveland Schools and had worked at Ruleville Manufacturing and Douglas & Lomason for a number of years before her retirement. Louise married Mike Palacios on October 13, 1963, in Cleveland, MS.
Louise loved working with flowers, playing games on her phone, listening to gospel music and Jimmy Swaggart's preaching, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, fishing, and going to dirt track races. She loved spending time with her family and her life was devoted to helping raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Spending time with her family was the highlight of her days.


She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar Eugene and Lucille Lindsey, three sons, Gary Palacios, Tony Allen Palacios, and Michael Palacios, and a grandson Timothy Cannon, three brothers, Bill Lindsey, Joe Lindsey, and Eugene Lindsey and one sister Evelyn Lindsey Curtis.

Louise is survived by her husband of 57 years Mike Palacios of Cleveland, MS, daughter Janie Palocios Cannon of Cleveland, MS, three brothers, John Thomas Lindsey of Lancaster, SC, Dexter Lindsey of Cleveland, MS, and William "Tootie" Lindsey of Scobey, MS, two grandchildren Madison P. Dixon (Andrea) of Starkville, MS and Justin Cannon (Daven) of Houston, MS.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 10:00 Am to 11:00 Am at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Reverend Max Weldon will officiate the service.

Pallbearers are Ricky Campbell, Jeffery Paul Lindsey, Christopher Lindsey, Shane Lindsey, Billy Smith, Jr., and Butch Boyette.
