Ernie Blaine and his family lived across the school campus from us. I did not know Ernie well, but from what I knew, everyone seemed to like him so I would echo the words other friends have left here, too. I am sorry to hear of his passing and offer my condolences and prayers for his family and friends. Rest in peace, Ernie.

Ernie “Barney” was a friend to everyone. I’ll always remember him cruising the streets of Ruleville in his 196? Rambler and being our lifeguard at the public pool. You will be missed my friend.
